Terms of Service

Agreement

By creating an account or using DeskCal (the "Service"), you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, don't use the Service. The Service is operated by Technosoft Consulting Limited, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 12515808).

Your account

You're responsible for keeping your password safe. You're responsible for everything that happens under your account. One account per person. You must be at least 13 years old (16 in the EU/UK).

Acceptable use

  • Use the Service for personal calendar tracking and related purposes.
  • Don't try to break, abuse, or overload the Service.
  • Don't use the Service to do anything illegal.
  • Don't try to access other users' accounts or data.
  • Don't reverse engineer, scrape, or build derivative products.

Your content

You own the events and other content you create. By using the Service, you grant us the limited license needed to operate the Service for you (storing, displaying it back to you, backing it up).

The Service is provided "as is"

We do our best to keep the Service running, accurate, and useful. But we can't guarantee uptime, accuracy, or fitness for any particular purpose. Don't use DeskCal as the only system tracking a critical commitment.

Beta status

DeskCal is currently in beta. Features may change, break, or disappear with little notice. We will give reasonable notice before material changes affect existing users.

Price

The Service is free during beta. If we ever introduce paid features, existing users will get clear notice before they take effect.

Termination

You can stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or threaten the Service. We'll explain why if we do.

Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim — which, during beta, is zero.

Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes go to the courts of England and Wales.

Changes to these Terms

We will update this page when material changes are made. Continued use after changes means you accept the new Terms.
